MAY 6th - This Saturday our post is partaking in the VFW NATIONAL DAY of SERVICE by helping with the Chaska Christmas in May program. To participate you need to show up at St John's church on 4th St East at 7:00 AM. Breakfast will be served and assignments given to all the volunteers. Our crew will work at a home/house which needs yard cleanup, small repairs or some painting, etc. The more volunteers the quicker the work will be completed. All should be done by mid-afternoon. MAY 10 - TASTE OF CHASKA is being held from 4-8PM at Fireman's Park (Crooked Pint area) . Chaska VFW will have our famous burgers grilling for the public to purchase. Volunteers are needed to load up at the VFW, at 3:00 PM, set up at the park, cook and serve burgers, pick up and clean up, and haul back to the VFW afterward. This is a fun event and the more people we have the easier it is.
