It was a close run thing, and it wasn't clear to anyone whether we were successful or not right up until before the committee convened. Thank you so much for your action on this. Combined, we have sent over 2,300 emails in the past few days.

Please, if your lawmaker responded to your email saying they would try to support it, take a moment to thank them in a quick response. It is important they know we appreciate it when they follow through for us. Big win today. Please stay informed and ready because we don't know when the next fight will come but we have to be ready.
